Positive: Absolutely wonderful place. The location is excellent, staff is extremely friendly and helpful, helped us with lots of recommendations and also with personal requests too as we were celebrating our anniversary together. The room also had its own plug adapters so we didn't have to bring any with us! The room also included a powerful hairdryer, iron steamer for clothes and detergents for the washing machine. We also had plenty of fluffy towels and some bathrobes from the property. Keep in mind though that there aren't slippers! Lots of restaurants nearby and also very close to interesting markets such as oriental stores where you can get different asian snacks or seasonings/foods. The pool on the rooftop was the cherry on top, almost every evening after we'd come back from adventuring around Malta, we'd jump right into it and relax. We had it heated every day of our stay, no extra charge, and it was excellent! Keep in mind though that the massage bubbles stop functioning everyday at around 22:00 o'clock and the lights of the pool turn off by themselves at around 01:00 AM. Overall amazing stay at Barcaluna, I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Negative: - expect to have the church bell ring a few times a day - the house echoes voices clearly from outside especially when people are right near the door and we can hear them so clear as if they're right next to us speaking in our ears - Bed is somewhat comfortable, but it's smaller compared to what we're used to and I eventually got a crick in the neck from sleeping weird in the bed with my partner. - mirrors are warped in the bedroom, making us look way different than how we actually look in real life -lack of full body mirror for days when you want to go out and have a look at your whole fit. The only mirrors are: 2 in the bedroom which are warped and end somewhere at the half of your body and the bathroom one which ends somewhere at the neck. - warm water in the shower is lasting approximately for one person to fully shower, the next person who will want to shower right after will most likely have to wait 20 or so mins for the water to warm up again enough to take a new shower.
